College Coach for Admissions
About H2C Advising LLC
Mission Statement
H2C Advising LLC exists to make the college admissions journey feel less overwhelming and more possible. We believe every student deserves guidance that sees them as an individual, not an application number, and every family deserves support that turns a stressful process into one built on clarity and confidence. Our purpose is to help students find colleges where they’ll genuinely thrive, not just get in.
Value Proposition
The H2C Difference
Judy brings direct, current experience from working inside a New York City public high school’s college counseling office, meaning she understands admissions from the inside, not just from the outside looking in. Families working with H2C get personalized, one-on-one attention rather than a generic checklist, with support at every stage from building a college list to submitting final applications.
Judy Henriquez, Experienced College Advisor and Counselor
Judy Henriquez is a dynamic, student-centered college coach for admissions committed to helping young people achieve their educational goals. With extensive experience in student-focused roles, Judy has developed strong skills in management, relationship building, and grant writing. Her career includes meaningful work at institutions in underserved communities, where she has consistently advocated for and supported students in reaching their academic ambitions.
Leadership as Director of Postsecondary Counseling
Judy serves as Director of Postsecondary Counseling at a New York City public high school, where she leads a team focused on college planning and application support. Her work there has given her a deep understanding of the college admissions landscape, including how admissions offices evaluate applicants and what students need to succeed at each stage of the process.
H2C Advising operates independently of Judy’s school employment. The families she works with through H2C are separate from the students she supports in her school role.
Commitment to Community and Professional Leadership
Judy volunteers actively in her community and has held leadership roles in professional organizations, including the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling and the National Association for College Admission Counseling. In these roles, she has championed diversity, inclusion, and equity in education.
Thought Leader
A distinguished visiting faculty member at the Harvard Summer Institute for College Admissions, Judy has led workshops focused on first-generation and low-income students, sharing practical strategies and insights that strengthen college access for underrepresented learners.
Fostering Inclusivity Through Language and Culture
Fluent in English and Spanish, Judy creates an inclusive environment where families feel informed and supported. By bridging language and cultural gaps, she broadens access to opportunities for Spanish-speaking communities and champions student success across diverse backgrounds. As a trusted college coach, Judy serves as a beacon of inspiration for the next generation of leaders.
